What is a Kids First Wellness Workshop?
Kids First Wellness Workshops are designed to motivate teachers, school staff, parents, students, and other community workplace personnel to work together and make positive food and physical activity choices and practice safe food habits and techniques.
We have always believed that workshops should involve all five senses in the learning and that the information to be presented should not be preached, but rather explored, investigated, tested, and even tried out!
Topics include:
Sweeten Up Your Life Without that Extra Sugar
Turn Household Chores into an Exercise Program
Fight Back! Come to Terms with Germs
Read the Label - Set A Better Table
Fruits & Veggies-More Matters
Pinpointing Portions: The More, NOT the Merrier |
