What is a Kids First Teacher & Staff Workshop?

We offer action-oriented teacher/staff workshops that provide easy ways for teachers and other school staff to integrate nutrition and food safety into their existing curriculum. These workshops may be tailored to the needs of the school and can focus on specific subject areas such as literacy, math or science.

Each participant receives a resource packet including posters with ideas on how to present fun and interesting lessons that motivate students to learn existing curriculum concepts plus motivate students to eat healthier. Staff members can learn practical and easy ways to be role models for the students as well as ways to incorporate wellness into their own personal lives.

Teacher Wellness Workshops are available for teachers in schools and other organizations who interact directly and/or indirectly with children.

All Kids First Wellness Workshops can be customized to suit a specific school district's or organization's needs.
